BSNL trick : Increase BSNL Internet Dataone/Broadband Connection speed
Many BSNL Broadband and BSNL Cellone Dataone users (including me) are frustated by BSNL DNS servers. These BSNL DNS are very unresponsive. The look up takes a long duration and many times just time out. I was much frustated by BSNL. But, since this is most cost-effective, i decided to search for solution to speed up BSNL Internet Broadband and finally presenting you this BSNL Hack to increase BSNL Dataone/Broadband speed.
Speed up BSNL Dataone/Broadband Internet Connection:
To overcome slow BSNL DNS problem, we will use high speed DNS servers from OpenDNS. OpenDNS is third party DNS Server used to speed up BSNL Broadband internet connection.
Steps to speed up BSNL Dataone/Broadband Internet :
1. Open Control Panel -> Networking and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connection.
2. Now a window showing all networks will be opened. Select BSNL Connection -> Right click -> Properties.
3. Now, double click on Internet Protocol Version(TCP/IPv4) and in newly opened window at bottom, select “Use the following DNS Server address” .
4. And fill these 2 DNS Addresses in two fields:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
and hit OK. Thats it. Your BSNL Internet Broadband DNS Servers changed.
Now, your BSNL internet broadband speed will be increased. Thus, you can now enjoy high speed BSNL Internet broadband. I hope you’ll like this BSNL Internet speed increasing hack/trick. If you have any problem or other high speed BSNL DNS Servers, please mention it in comments section.

I dont think the download speed is increasing.. or even increasing, but very small margin of 4-5 kbps. But, i have experienced growth in surfing speed.

hii friend i just want to know from this hack my download speed will increase or not actually i am bored with 750 plan it gives only 30 kbs downloading speeed.tell me how to increase upto 100 or 115kbps.
the same problem here, i upgraded my dataone plan to unlimited 750 plus, i get a download speed of around 20 to 30 kbps please help

Yes, 750 plan is having very low download speed of around 30 kbps. I am using same plan.

May be you are not in Classic View of Control Panel. Enable it by clicking on “Classic View” in left options pane of your Control Panel and you will get Networking and Sharing center.

before Download Connection is:: 978 Kbps about 0.98 Mbps (tested with 1024 kB)
after Download Connection is:: 987 Kbps about 0.99 Mbps (tested with 1024 kB)
