Many bloggers are frustrated because their blog does not have any blog comments or have less comments than expected. Comments are reflection of your blog reader’s interest in your blog. So, it is necessary to encourage blog readers to comment so that you can increase comment count. I have listed below some of tips to increase this blog comment count. Just check it out…

Tips to increase blog comments :

1. Latest fresh topic content :

Netizens are always attracted towards fresh topic and so are more probable to share their views on such fresh content. If you are having redundant topic, they will find nothing new, and hence they’ll find less interest and are less probable of commenting on such articles.

2. Personally mentioning :

This trick i learnt from experienced bloggers like “Problogger”. In this, what you have to do is simply ask readers to express their views on topic. Just check out my article ending, to learn more on how to increase comments by personally mentioning.

3. Debating topic :

This trick though works the best, has its own consequences. Comments can be increased by selecting a debating topic and expressing your own views. Topic should be flexible such that it will have many equal and opposite responses, and there may be many readers wishing to prove their point on topic.

But, on other hand, this can lead to fuming of readers and in complicated situations, loss of valuable readers if they find themselves hurt due to debating topic. So, use this tip carefully.

4. Personal response :

You must present article in such a way that it should appeal personally to reader and reader must find interest in the topic. Develop your own style of writing such articles.

5. Comment widgets :

This is also very important if you wanna increase comments on blog. Simply consider two situations :
a. In first, you are on a blog having only “Post a comment” link on page with no visible comment box. You have to click on link to go to comment full page and then comment.

b. In second, you have “visible” blogger in-draft comment box just below the article and in best case, even Gravatar is supported by commenting system on blog.

So, where you can comment easily ?? Of-course, the second one. Because, it is easy to comment..saves time and what not !! So friends, improve your blog commenting system such that it will be easy for readers to comment on your blog. Widgets like Intensedebate are also useful in increasing blog comments.

6. Top commentators :

This trick is used by many bloggers and have found this trick working very well. Here, just you have to mention top commentators which comment the most on your blog. So, this serves an encouragement for your readers as they see their name listed on your blog leading to free on-line publicity.

7. Incomplete content :

Comments can be increased by mentioning only those points about topic which you think can be useful and are new to your readers and not mentioning or skipping those points which are very common and even newbie can have knowledge of it. Doing this, and implementing trick no.2 will give you large number of comments as readers will comment about points they know as these points, they will find, not mentioned in article, thus increasing your comments.

8. Writing skill :

This is very much similar to trick no.4 but has broader aspect. Develop your own addicting style of writing articles. This addiction will cause them to return to your blog again and again, though they will find articles on same topic elsewhere. 9. Large traffic :

It is my observation that you receive comments 1-1.5% of your site traffic. For example, if your daily site traffic is say 1000, you will receive max of 10-15 comments per day. So, this is very simple trick that if you increase your site traffic, you are bound to receive good number of comments.
